A workshop on Pedagogical Planning for Principals of Nagpur Sahodaya Schools Complex (NSSC) was recently held at Montfort School, Nagpur. The programme began with the lighting of the lamp. The Resource Person for the workshop was Ms. Kalpana Kapoor, renowned leadership coach, mentor and master trainer for Pedagogical leadership. Brother Shine Alex, Joint Treasurer, NSSC welcomed the dignitaries which included Ms. Kalpana Kapoor and the Senior Nagpur Educationists Mrs. Annapoorni Shastri (Director, Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan group of schools), Mrs. Neeru Kapai (Director, Modern School) and Mrs. Mukta Chatterjee (Director, Centre Point group of schools). Mrs. Vandana Bisen, Secretary NSSC introduced the keynote speaker.
The resource person in her address emphasized the need for the Principals to be the Pedagogical leaders of their school who would be responsible to ensure and support teaching and learning and continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the learning program to optimize the learning environment.
The sessions included Reflections, Pedagogical leadership and Practices to promote Innovative and Joyful learning.
Mrs.Vandana Bisen Principal of Bhavan’s B.P.Vidya Mandir Ashti was felicitated by Mrs. Reena Dargan, Chairperson Sahodaya schools complex, for being conferred with the CBSE Best principal Award. Mrs. Vandana Bisen is the only principal among all the Bhavans Schools and Maharashtra to receive this prestigious award.
The whole program was conducted smoothly under the able guidance of Smt.Reena Dargan who went beyond her comfort zone to organise this program. Brother Bala Showrey, Chairman, Brothers of Saint Gabriel education society, Montfort
group of schools, Hyderabad was also present on the occasion. Mrs. Sumathi Venugopalan, Treasurer, NSSC, proposed the vote of thanks while Mrs. Anuradha Sardeshpande, Joint Secretary, NSSC anchored the proceedings of the event. |
